continuing our exploration of the great unity records new age label, this is an amazing journey conjured up by steve mclinn's ojas project from oklahoma city OK. im sure he's THE pioneer of oklahoma new age music. this great LP takes us on 2 side long rides through harp, guitars, vocals, gongs, and all manner of wonderful synthesizers. its a beautiful new age trip from beginning to end, with some of the breezy joy as Deuter's 'Celebration' album. he doesnt always make all of the right moves but the spirit is there for sure, let it flow and enjoy!
"sound is the force which holds the physical octave. it is a doorway through which the consciousness might flow into new dimensions of reality."
also please visit the ojas / steve mclinn website here.
mr. mclinn recently had a fire that destroyed his entire studio along with most of his gear and recordings, so buy some stuff from his website if you can.

Hi there,
I have several tapes of OJAS and it's a great pleasure to get him on your site. Thanks for all the good vibes.
Outstanding. Thanks.
I am filled with pride knowing that my hometown is home to artists such as Ojas. Hurray for Oklahoma new age music. :)
thanks for uploading this.
I actually have a copy of Malcolm Cecil's old Unity LP I would be happy to rip for the blog if you want. just send me an email= brnsound at gmail
Glad you folks like my music... it's still for sale with many new titles thru www.ojasmusic.com. 7 Levels was recorded in 1978 and New Age music was not even a classification at the time. My digital cd of my 7 Levels remaster is much clearer than this ripped version off the record... of course ya all know I hope that Peter Giorgi (Unty Records) did not pay his artists and ripped most if not all of us off for many Thousands of $$$$$. He even STOLE my masters and sold them in Europe. He lived off my work, and I got nothing in return except for the fact many people heard these tracks. Please support the artists you are ripping. It is their livelihood. They cannot produce new works without having an income.
thanks for listening and Peace...
Steve McLinn/Ojas
